JUNIOR SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR II

Key Responsibilities: To provide IT customer service, testing, troubleshooting, on-site support and perform other related technical tasks. Additionally, the post-holder along with the technical support team members will deliver fast, efficient, effective and varied technical services to customers in the areas of computer hardware, computer software and data communication support within the Cayman Islands Government.

Qualifications: This position is an entry-level position into the Technical Support profession. The post-holder is expected to possess a minimum of three (3) CXC passes or equivalent and have a keen interest in technical IT support.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must have a working knowledge & skills in IT diagnostics, support and troubleshooting of two or more of the following: Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Computer Hardware.

Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills; possessing the ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment. He/she should display an aptitude for excellent customer service techniques to maximise customer satisfaction and to ensure that full account is taken of the customers’ real and perceived needs in the delivery of IT products and services. The post holder should be the holder of a valid driver’s license.
